Temporal Lift

Targeting the first signs of ageing
Ageing often appears first in the outer eye area where hooding of the outer brow over the upper lid fold gives the face a tired, weary or careworn look. This has a dramatic effect on the overall appearance of the face. Deterioration often occurs quite rapidly and it can seem that almost overnight the eyes lose their look of alertness.

Why choose a Temporal Lift?

A temporal lift corrects the early signs of ageing around the eyes without having to undergo major surgery. It also does not require incisions in the eye area which results in no detectable scar or hair loss.

How the surgery is performed
The temporal lift is performed through a small incision in the hairline above the temple (hence the name 'temporal lift'). This flexible procedure lightens the hooding of the outer eyelid, reduces crows feet lines and firms the outer-eye area. It is often extended down the side of the outer eye area to the upper cheek to reduce looseness and sagging under the lower eyelids and the top of the cheek.

Who will benefit from this procedure?
Ideal for people in their 30s and 40s who are noticing the first signs of facial ageing, a temporal lift works under the skin on the outer eye area to restore the support layers of the face. In Dr Mendelson’s hands, the procedure has also become a routine part of a full facelift for older patients. Importantly, a deep temporal lift does not result in an obvious or overdone look.
