About Bryan Mendelson

Bryan Mendelson has given over 100 presentations to surgeons around the world. His global audience has developed as a result of his 25 years of research into facial anatomy, facial ageing and new techniques to provide natural and lasting results for patients.

He is regularly invited to perform ‘live surgery’ to demonstrate his procedures to other surgeons. Countries in which he has presented his findings include England, France, the USA, Brazil, Germany, China and South Korea. His pre-eminence in the field of aesthetic plastic surgery has resulted in numerous awards and accolades.

He is immediate past President of ISAPS, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Plastic Surgery - my personal perspective

‘Quality plastic surgery lifts the spirits. It relieves people of those aspects of their face which make them feel despondent whenever they pass a mirror.

Frequently it’s because middle age has brought about a look of tiredness, which simply does not reflect how the person feels inside. Or it can be a particular feature of their face which is out of balance with the rest.

Everyday, in my practice, I share the delight of people who have chosen to have these burdens lifted. Often their decision was not an easy one, but their relief at finally being free of the problem can be quite profound, even liberating.

For me, as their surgeon, there can be no compromises ever. It is my task to give only the best. That means imperceptible surgery, meticulous attention to detail and personal, caring attention at every stage of the patient’s journey, which extends well beyond the date of surgery.

Working together with patients to achieve this is tremendously uplifting. Time and time again I have watched aesthetic surgery not only lift people’s spirits, but give them a renewed confidence and energy for their life and future.

And because they chose quality aesthetic surgery and not a ‘quick fix’, the results they are so happy with today will remain into the future and continue to give them pleasure.

Being able to deliver those results is what motivates me as a surgeon and makes my relationship with my patients so pleasurable.’
